Matt Braukmann and James Dallner create a unique experience for their clients. With their 40 years of combined legal experience in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Civil Litigation, Employment Discrimination, and more – they are the team you want when seeking legal resolution.
Matt Braukmann was born to a working-class family in rural NW Oregon. After graduating near the top of his class in high school, Matt obtained an Administration of Justice degree, with honors, in 2000. Matt worked construction to help pay his way through college and was the first person in his family to attend college. After working for a large Portland, Oregon law firm for two years, Matt enrolled at the University of Oregon School of Law in 2002. The beauty and mystery of the wilds of Montana lured Matt to relocate to Missoula, MT, where he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2005.
After law school, Matt worked for 5 years for a large insurance defense firm, representing insurance companies and individuals in civil litigation matters, including personal injury and wrongful death. Realizing a far greater satisfaction representing individuals than larger insurance companies, Matt’s practice has solely focused on helping people and families who have been injured in Montana since 2011. Matt has helped 100s of clients and has recovered tens of millions of dollars on behalf of his clients over the last decade.
Matt is a single father of two beautiful girls and a handsome flat coat retriever. When not working or exploring the wilds of Montana with his daughters, Matt spends his time fly fishing in his drift boat, whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, skiing, archery elk hunting, and reading.
